Help Floresville Lions and Food Pantry feed families during this holiday season

Holidays are for giving, and the Floresville Lions Club, in conjunction with the Floresville Food Pantry, wants to help with that. This holiday season, donations of food items are being accepted at “Care and Share Floresville Food Pantry” drop-off locations set up at these Floresville businesses:
•Jack’s Café, 507 10th Street (U.S. 181)
•Top Hat Thriftique & Emporium, 420 10th Street (U.S. 181)
•UPS Store, 923 10th Street (U.S. 181), Suite 101.
•Acme Guns, 540 10th Street, #130 (U.S. 181)
Food items especially needed for the holidays are:
•Regular-size canned goods, including vegetables, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin
•Boxed stuffing mixes•Gravy mix packets
•Family-sized instant potatoes.
Monetary donations can also be made online at www.floresvillefoodpantry.org, or mailed to Floresville Food Pantry and Resource Center, P.O. Box 372, Floresville, TX 78114. If writing a check, indicate “Lions Club” in the memo.
